Upper Wimmera Landcare Network - Christmas Picnic
Project Platypus welcomes everyone involved in Landcare in the Upper Wimmera to join them for a festive picnic.
Working Bee of the Friends of Wail Arboretum Inc.
Weed control, watering, spreading mulch, erecting signage and removing debris, etc. Please bring appropriate tools and sturdy garden gloves. All interested people are welcome; especially those with interests in native flora.
Garden Visit by Wimmera Growers of Australian Plants Inc.
The visit will take in the Wail Arboretum and the Wail Nursery. The visit will be followed by a social picnic tea. BYO food, drinks and chairs. Tables, hot water and tea/coffee provided. All interested visitors welcome.

Internationally renowned scientist and climate change expert, Prof Tim Flannery will be in the Wimmera on Friday 31st October. You have two opportunities to come and hear him speak: Leadership in a Changing Climate - Breakfast and Farming for the Future- Living in a Changing Climate Forum.
